My Final Blog

Writing a blog, who would have known I could do it! This was a great experience because I have never written or read a blog before. This was a very thought provoking assignment and I glad I was able to choose my own topic to make it really mine.

In writing this blog I have realized why I do what I do, because I love children! Kids are my passion and I want the best for my students. Head Start is a topic that is very near and dear to me and I was happy that I was able to give my outlook on the program. I really enjoy having to research, evaluate and really think about what I was writing and how I wanted it to come across about the program. In doing the research I did find a lot of information that I did not agree with and was happy to dispute this information. Having the blog was a good way to release my frustration about the misinterpretation of the program.  I hope readers are able to see through my blog the great things that Head Start is doing for the children of our future. I want people to give Head Start a chance and don’t look down your nose at a program you hear about, but are not amerced in. A lot of high risk children get the short end of the stick. I do pray that all of the children that come through the Head Start get a “Head Start”.
